Something Old, Something New, Nothing Borrowed, Something Blue

Does anyone remember this?

The beloved and most favorite article of clothing in Eliana's wardrobe...

has been replaced!

We'll have to wait and see if she really tosses aside her striped number for something a little more dotty...

Did I Say Irresistible?

I meant it!

I write a lot about the special relationship that Eliana and Michaela have because they are home together most of the time, but she loves Christian so much too.  Often the first word out of her mouth when she wakes up is,"Chi-chin?"  As in,"Where is that crazy-fun guy?"  She loves being wherever he is.

At the end of a day that had some pretty "Ugh!" moments, this is nice...

I will never, never, never, never, never stop loving this scene.

A Little Off the Top

There is a little gnome

Who runs around our home;

He opens up a chocolate

And takes a little bite of it.

How strange to eat the top-

I myself could not there stop.

I have to eat it all,

But this gnome he must be small.

So a little bit will do,

The rest is left for me or you.

I do not eat what others bite

And though it does not seem right

This chocolate will have to go

Into the trash, it's sad, I know.

So, little gnome, please do not eat

The chocolates we have as treats

Unless you plan to finish them-

We do not want the chocolate bottom.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

This is how Eliana fell asleep tonight...

covered with prayer.

Irresistible

Yes, I just couldn't help myself...you know how I am when it comes to sweets!

Not just chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake, either...
