Do You Think Inside the Box or Outside the Box?
Eliana has a love-hate relationship with legos. It seems she hasn't learned her lesson...
At least they're behind her this time.
Uh-oh, back in front. But she is not in the box this time. And so out of the box it is.
Until they go back in the box.
At least she cleans up after herself. I have enough to do!
Stack Attack
Eliana has had her ring stacker for quite some time now, and she has had fun playing with it in different ways, but never really put it together before. She didn't get it. But tonight, she did! It was so neat to watch her discover how the rings slid on and off the stacker. She was fascinated and did it over and over again. I tried to catch her saying,"Yay," but I wasn't able to.
And please, please excuse the wreck in the background (You're welcome for my calling it to your attention. I hate an elephant in the room, so I had to say it.)
Measured Eating
Eliana loves to feed herself, and I just can't help myself, I love taking pictures of her doing it. For anyone interested, here are some funny pictures of her with her yogurt. Note her utensil of choice...
Surprise!
Isn't it so sweet to love on someone when they least expect it? Today, moms from Christian's class gathered in the school office and then walked down the hall to surprise his teacher in her classroom with a gift, flowers, and a special book that the children put together without her knowing about it.
We all walked into the classroom and by the look on her face it was obvious how surprised and touched she was by the "intrusion."
Ms. Ross, Ms. Ferris' assistant, presented her with the book that the children had been working on...
The kids surrounded Ms. Ferris and her gift, a baby jogger/walker, and there was a final photo opportunity, but my camera battery died! I hope to get that picture from another mom and add it. It was a sweet end to a special celebration.
