Goodies
It's getting chilly here, now that we're nearing November. The last couple of days have brought hints of fall - gloriously cool breezes, bright orange pumpkins on doorsteps, scarecrows on benches. One fun thing that appeared on our doorstep was a package from Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Ken. Inside the box we found autumn goodies!
As I've mentioned before, I love chocolate. This disease fondness has been genetically dispensed upon my offspring, and so they were very excited to find "ghoulish" M&M's. They picked out a few of their favorite colors and had a little snack.
Can you guess who opened the package?
Black for Christian, orange for Michaela.
Strawberries...M&M's? Hmmm.... The strawberries got 2nd place.
I think she needs more sugar, don't you?
We also found some fun socks in there.
Eliana had a lot of fun with the card from Grandma and Grandpa. She added her own illustrations to the card, talking about what she was doing the whole time.
Grandma also worked very hard to put together a sweet photo album of our visit to Virginia earlier this summer. We spent some time looking at that right before bedtime. What a special way to remember our time there! Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa, for your love. And your chocolate! We love you...
