Looking Back With Love

I can't believe six years ago today I held him for the first time.  And loved him so immediately.  He totally melted my heart the instant I laid eyes on him. 

Michaela was pretty taken with him too. 

So much changes in that first year.  Babies are so completely dependent at first, so tiny and helpless.  And then twelve months go by zoom by and all of a sudden there is no baby, but a toddler!

Christian has always had a killer smile...

Such a sweet boy...

He is blessed to have a big sister who  loves him...

And a little sister who loves him...

Even in the last two years, so much has changed-a move to Texas, a new baby in the family, starting school outside of home.

One thing will always remain constant though, amidst all the changes and challenges that come our way - our love for Christian!  It gets stronger every day.

We celebrate his birthday with great joy, and pray that his coming year is full of growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, knowing His love, and ours as well.

Do you ever wonder if its even possible to love someone even MORE than you already do? I'm at this point with my kids where I'm just infatuated with them and totally in love with them and it's amazing to think I could love them EVEN more. Ya know? :) Happy Birthday Christian! I didn't realize he was younger than Dominic (even if only by two months or so...he look so tall and Dom looks so tiny compared to him...ohh that's right, because his daddy is so tall!)
