Reminder

A couple of years ago I bought the kids chore charts; here's a little peek into my organizational skills-I just got around to hanging them on our fridge.  I stuck some magnet strips on the back and voila! Up they went. I'm too lazy to put the proper accent mark on that French word, please forgive me.

Michaela discovered them on the refrigerator this evening and immediately erased her name and wrote the proper identification on her chart.  She then filled in all the blanks as she saw fit.  These are her DAILY chores.

It must be worse than I thought around here.  I better get a move on.

I have to admit that it did make me laugh out loud.  I don't know where she gets her ambition from.  A generation removed from us, I think.

If Michaela follows through on all of that she can come live with US! Heck, I'd settle for just the making dinner part!

I'm looking at that list and I think those are the chores that are fun - from a kid's perspective. Mine were fascinated with cleaning toilets - until it became a regular chore.

However, if you can get her to fix dinner you've scored BIG time!

Love it! Where did you get that chore chart? I am needing to find one and have just been printing ours off on paper. The picture of Eliana is beautiful. All your kiddos are adorable.

She is going to make dinner and clean the toilets!

Can I adopt her?

It seems we're all on the same page as far as making dinner...I have recently realized I don't like to cook. This is unfortunate since there are so many people here who need to eat.
Kristina, I think that chart is from Lakeshore Learning, the store. You can look up chore chart on Amazon and a ton come up including the one I have, but it costs more-comes with all sorts of fun things that I didn't get.
Dandy, she's so helpful, I just don't think I can give her up!!

Very cool! Does she get anything for completing a week's worth? Or is it just to keep track of daily routine? Just interested, because I'm thinking of implementing one, but not sure how it all works.

I'm so impressed she uses them! I have chore charts on my fridge too........They are about as useful as a pogo stick in the sand around here.........My youngest rugrat just hid the laundry under pillows on the sofa last night.........

I about fell on the floor...... and so did she.......(kidding......)
