Adjectival

I have many things I would like to tackle tonight, so I'm going to write a quick post highlighting a few things from today.

Thrilling:  Parking on the top of the parking deck outside of Nordstrom's today because Christian wanted me to.  They thought that was pretty neat.  I never knew they were so easy to please.

Ridiculous:  The price of one piece of a bathing suit at Nordstrom's, much less two.

Embarrassing:  Driving around the same level of the parking deck five times before realizing that I was just circling, not driving down the exit ramps.  Christian yelled,"I knew it.  I knew it!"

Disappointing:  Returning some curtains to Wal-Mart today because they were the wrong length, and no longer being able to find the curtains in the correct length (they are the ones we bought for Michaela's room).  Now I'm short a set of curtains, and  I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.

Fun:  Taking some bathing suits up to the register at Gap today (that's not the fun part) only to hear the lady behind the cash register say,"You know these are ringing up 40% off, and then you get an extra 25% for using your Gapcard, so you're getting 65% off, right?"  In fact, I did not know that, but it was a great discovery.

Cheap:  Buying the kids small slushes (the two big kids!) at Sonic during the half-price Happy Hour today, and only paying $1.08.  I thought that was not too bad for a special treat, and it beats the price of two snow cones at the pool.

Unexpected:  Having Mike join us at the pool tonight.  He jumped in with the big kids and they were so happy.

Challenging:  Being truly content with where I am in life.

This seems like a shallow post, but really, there's a lot behind it.  I hope everyone that reads this has a great weekend.
