Keep the Change

This is going to come as a huge shock to you.

My two-year-old

is

a stinkpot.

You are reeling from this news, I'm sure.  Who would have thought that she would ever be so...strong-willed?  Opinionated?  Determined?

And yet I still can't help but squish her in giant hugs and cover her with kisses all day.

Seriously.  The kid can throw a wicked temper.

But, seriously.  I love her to death.

And while there are some things that change as she gets older

I'm grateful that there are some things that (at least for now)

remain the same.

That girl loves her yogurt! It's supposed to be really good for your skin, isn't it? Maybe we should all try Eliana's technique and shed a few years!

How darling!! LOve the messy face stage... kind of miss it... LOL

No flash question... Hm, first, I'm NO expert at all, but I do know that Jana and I have the same camera. I also think it's big to use the best angle and natural lighting. If you get a really good angle you have something creative in a photo, and if you can ever use natural lighting and turn off the flash that's usually the trick. Sometimes natural lighting isnt' quite cutting it, and I end up lightening the entire photo a touch in Picassa or Picnik. (Do you use one of those? They are both free of charge..)

Happy photo snapping!

I. Do. Not. Miss. Two.

But then again, 14 isn't all that different.

What BEAUTIFUL pictures of your girl!! Gorgeous! My two year old is also a stinkpot....though my "pet name" for him is Pee-Pot! He keeps us up-to-date with funny, frustrating, and amazing stories though....we're never at a loss. You know the movie/book Marley and Me? The wonderfully awful dog Marley gave the author all sorts of stories....that is our Pee-pot! Our latest....dialing 911. He too is a very determined and strong-willed child. But I do believe someday this will all pay off.....I hope, I hope.....at least that is what I am praying to God for!!!

Two year old cuteness is almost too much for me.

I can't believe I only get 4 more months of having a 2-year-old. That makes me sad.
Not sad enough to start over though ;)
