Fitness Friday: Froward*

I was so tired today. And now I feel wide awake. It's like I'm a newborn, and I've got my days and nights mixed up.

Since yesterday was my birthday, and I was especially naughty (soda + Bloomin' Onion + brownie + cheesecake = naughty, no?), and since today was a new Friday, I thought I could start my Fitness Friday up again. However. Mike took it upon himself to go get donuts this morning. And I took it upon myself to eat more than one of them. And then we ordered pizza for dinner tonight. And I took it upon myself to get a soda with the pizza.

I know that my sluggishness has to be in some part because of my diet lately, and my lack of physical activity.

Therefore! I am going to do something tonight! I haven't decided what it is yet. I'll let you know later. But I know that I like the way I was feeling in the spring when I was exercising, and eating better (i.e. NO SODA). I've got to get back to that.

I have been reading in my books, and the Bible. I feel good about that.

So, there's an update, and just about the most opposite of an exciting post as you can get.

Hi guys! I've been as active as a slug! I've eaten a ton of bad food lately!
   I'm reading, though!

I'm sure I'm well on my way to a Nobel Prize in Literature.

*I did not misspell "forward."** I like to use the thesaurus!

**I do not like to put the period inside of the quotation mark when the word in quotes is not part of a direct quote. It looks stupid both ways, actually, but the American way is that the period goes inside of the quotes. Period. End of story. That's it. Good bye.

I have that period/quote issue too. I just always hope that whomever is reading it does not know the difference.
