Running Around, Aiming for Straight, Headed for Holiness
They say you can't buy happiness, but I have been to Ikea and The Container Store, stocking up on all manner of organizationally helpful paraphernalia,
and buying bins and shelves and stuff for bringing order sure comes close. Now I must get from the here (messy, chaotic, disordered living) to the there (organized, efficient, purposeful living). The Lord created this world in an orderly manner and full of order, and called it good, and so this endeavor is not just for the sake of being tidy. I am chasing after holiness. Goodness. Righteousness. I'll be the first to admit I get lost because I leave my map behind, or I ignore the Lead Runner. But! I am going to keep on after it! I find myself often thinking back to that phrase from Charlie's sermon: Cling to God and get going!
School materials are also beginning to arrive in the mail. Opening this box made me smile! I was so excited to see these books!
I have many things to work on tonight, and so...I'm off to put a bathroom cabinet back in order (a lovely discovery...something was running around on the top shelf; Mike took care of sealing that cabinet up and now I need to get things back in it). The changes are coming along, even if slowly...much like that tortoise on the front of the CD for First Language Lessons. Slow and steady wins the race!

"Something" was running around in your cabinet??
Slow and steady...keep it up!!
Oh The Container Store is definitely one of my 'happy places' : )
Yay, You! Conquer that chaos! I'm feeling all itchy-scratchy house-chaoticy here in Kellerville. Something's gotta give. And I have got to get the gumption to organize this mess. But for now, I'll just cheer you on!!
I think I love the title of this post more than anything I've read in the blogging world for a good long while, friend. Yuck on the "something". Yay on the organizing chutzpah. And, yippee for school starting. (Just keepin' it real for ya. I'm. So. Ready.)
