Together
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 2:06PM
I've said this before...I always wanted a sister. I love my brother so much, but growing up I really wanted a sister, too.
It seems like there's such a special bond between sisters (I know that isn't true in every case, but the potential for tight friendship is there). Girls growing up in the same family, experiencing their parents and siblings in similar ways as well as in ways that speak to their differences and uniqueness. Playing together. Giggling together. Telling secrects together. Just being together.
Eliana wants to be wherever the big kids are...
but it's true the other way around, too.

Aww, those pictures are so sweet!
Although part of me hoped for a boy when I found out I was pregnant with Addison, as my pregnancy progressed, more and more I wanted a girl. Since they are so close in age, I saw the potential for the girls being the best of friends. Of course they have their moments, but for the most part, they are tight as can be. They really look out for each other and spend an awful lot of time giggling together. Often, it is at my expense, but that is OK (and to be expected).
Thank you, Sue!
Amy, I bet it is so fun to watch them!
Are those not the most heart-warming pictures ever. Its just too sweet for words.
So sweet. I'm an only child and I look longingly at the relationships that some of my friends have with their sisters.
I'm melting over here from these photos. Soooo heart warming. I hope hope hope my kids love each other like that. I'm going to do everything in my power to foster close relationships between them. Elle
