Signs of Summer

Blazing sun at 4:30 in the afternoon...
Flip-flops and maxis...
New orange glasses and sun-kissed cheeks...
Feeling too hot to finish going around the block...
Shaggy hair...
Finding the shade...
Tiger lilies...
Buying lemonade on the corner (or getting ice in a cup, if you are Eliana)...
Sweaty hair and flushed cheeks as we head home...
We are going on vacation soon. Do you have plans for the summer?

Nope, no plans here except a couple of trips to the lake. I like a planless summer!

kidding, it's been nice today but a lot of rain most days and expected to rain again for the next few days starting tomorrow now.
We're going to Florida in 2 weeks! Can't wait!

We are headed to a great little vacation spot in Central Oregon in two weeks. I sure hope the sun finds its way there by then!
Our plans for the summer are just to get through the wedding planning and make it to September 18th :-) Actually we have a staycation planned at the end of June in downtown Indy. Other than that, not much...I do love being outside though! Cute cute kiddos!
