Camping
Well, here I am at camp.
Apparently God had a different plan than I did for my week. Mike was still pretty uncomfortable this morning; that pesky stone likes to move around, but doesn't seem to be headed further south just yet. So I headed east with Christian and three other boys in the van.
Four boys are loud, by the way.
They had a three hour science class after lunch, followed by activities like swimming, whipping down giant water slides, and zip-lining. Now the kids have split up into two teams and are on an adventure trek scavenger hunt. Since my allergies have been horrendous, I volunteered, along with another mom, to stay in the cabin to see who gets back first with a completed paper.
Hey, the girls just got back...they won!
And now I better get back to chaperoning!

All of the lights are out, the kids have settled down, and it's time to sleep. Hopefully the bugs will stay out of our beds. What bugs, you say? Bugs like the centipedes large as my pinkie finger crawling on one of the bathroom floors this evening. Another mom scooped it up with a cup and we ran to toss it outside, screaming when I couldn't get the door open.
After a Benadryl-induced nap this afternoon, I was told by two people that I snore, which is news to me. I hope that tonight I do not keep my roommate from sleeping!

Only the cool moms snore. ;) (I would SO have been screaming at a centipede that size.)
