Fitness Friday: FAIL
That's a dramatic title, huh?
This week, from Friday to Friday, was a wash. I wish it had evened out, but I gained a pound back. The exercise that I did do was cancelled out by the extra calories that I took in. We had milkshakes one night (half price at Sonic after 8pm) and then I got the kids Frosties from Wendy's one afternoon (they had never had a Frosty...Christian didn't even want to try it, because he thought he wouldn't like it; what a goof). I had a little bit of each of their Frosties, which turned out to be a tad more than I thought it would be. Because of a kind of crazy schedule, we drove through Chick-Fil-A a couple of times, and I had a half sweet/half unsweet tea each time. I was still exercising, but I didn't take advantage of some opportunities to go walking or jogging that I should have.
So...just kind of a blah week. I decided that I would start over today. Calorie count was okay, and I did jog earlier this afternoon. I will do my video at some point in the next two hours, probably. As far as eating more quality proteins and laying off of the carbs? Well, I'll have to give that another shot, too. I find myself grossed out by the very foods that I need to be eating! I'm not sure what to do about that. I have a theory that it's related to my cycle.
A boring update, I know. Hopefully next time I'll have a better report! I really want to work hard the next three to four weeks, before we take off for the summer. I am frustrated that I blew two weeks in a row, but..."is what is."
